About Us

 

Filos was created by a group of students from the MiLab (Media Innovation Lab), a joint project between Interactive Communication and Computer Science students of the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.

 

Through the combined efforts of Computer Science expertise mixed with the Communication students marketing and UI skills, a unique hybrid of application innovation was formed. The inspiration of the app came from the Six Degrees of Separation theory.

 

Filos, meaning “friend of” in Greek, intends to bring people together and create friendship.  

Our goal is to bridge the communication gap between new people meeting each other, because everywhere you go there is someone you may know!
